Senior Legal Services’ mission is to provide legal advice, advocacy, counseling, education and representation to the senior community in Baltimore City, and to improve the quality of life and negate the exploitation of Baltimore seniors. Senior Legal Services is a project of the Baltimore Bar Foundation and the Bar Association of Baltimore City.

Legal Help for Seniors
Program Description:
Senior Legal Services (SLS) provides free legal advice, services, and representation to Baltimore City residents age sixty (60) and older. SLS will provide legal assistance with:
- Estate planning and administration: Will, advanced medical directive, financial power of attorney, life estate deed, personal representative deed
- Housing: Foreclosure or tax sale and financial stability and exploitation
- Debt collection and consumer issues: Student loans, contract disputes, utilities, deceptive/fraudulent sales practices, and more)
- Elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation
