Organization Description

Mid-Shore Pro Bono (MSPB) is a nonprofit organization that supports and assists individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and provides connections to community services. MSPB provides legal assistance in the program areas of family law, elder law, and consumer debt and housing.

MSPB connects low-income individuals who are involved in difficult family matters with an attorney who can guide them through these legal processes and often provide representation in court.

Program Description:

MSPB offers seniors personal, confidential legal advice and counseling. Clients can obtain wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives free of charge. MSPB strongly encourages all seniors to obtain important end-of-life documents.
MSPB also offers assistance with:

  • Adult Guardianship
  • Senior Housing Issues, including Landlord/Tenant
  • Estate Administration
